The new town hall square must be refurbiished in connection with the rest of the town: that was the fundamental theme of the competition. Utilizing the topography going down to the river, the project defines the south border of the site with a commercial and cultural space, strictly in connection with the public space drawing and the town hall. A buried parking eliminates cars from the square, giving the public space back to pedestrians.
